What did I do before Starbucks? It seems so long ago... and its so hard to imagine life now without Starbucks... but I roasted my own coffee beans. As a teenager and young adult, I drank my coffee Turkish style. Dark roasted, big grind, with boiling water poured over it to make a thick, dark, almost creamy coffee packed with flavor. Then I switched to French press coffee. About 30 years ago I started drinking espresso and 15 years ago drinking espresso drinks such as Lattes, Mochas, etc. Love my java!! Starbucks just makes it more convenient.
