Only some of us feel most connected to God during a musical worship service... there's another group of people out there who feel most connected to God during a sermon... or a walk on the beach.. or while reading a theology book....Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02513274389925703241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34923676.post-33356103319344513992008-08-03T22:52:00.000-05:002008-08-03T22:52:00.000-05:00p.s. i am SO blessed to know you, too. ;) thank...p.s. i am SO blessed to know you, too. ;) thanks for walking with me for awhile! :)Happyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18060152095194610475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34923676.post-16495395404108756832008-08-03T22:51:00.000-05:002008-08-03T22:51:00.000-05:00Cathy - thank you. You are one talented lady.

Faintnot dearest - I can't tell you how much I needed to hear the reminder that preaching is still leading worship. I told someone this week that it felt so strange to say that, much as I love leading worship, preaching was even more fun... I almost felt guilty, in an odd sort of way, like I was betraying my first love or something, and wondering what I was supposed to do with it... but pursuing this teaching thing ISN'T abandoning my call to lead worship at all - it's simply learning to paint a different part of the same picture with a new brush, isn't it? phew! :)Happyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18060152095194610475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34923676.post-8100573816746735912008-08-03T19:06:00.000-05:002008-08-03T19:06:00.000-05:00Worship leaders many change venues, (as you and I ...Worship leaders many change venues, (as you and I and others are experiencing) but we are worship leaders none the less...music is one venue, the pulpit is another, the street is another still...you are a woman of God and I am blessed beyond compare to be in the process of knowing you and your journey steps...faintnothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09908528929679300814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34923676.post-47728158193198627692008-08-03T17:30:00.000-05:002008-08-03T17:30:00.000-05:00Wow, that is beautiful.
